What is talkby?
Talkby turns your own knowledge into a public AI chat page. Visitors can ask questions, browse relevant offerings, and get answers in a voice that is grounded in what you have shared.
Who is it for?
It is built for founders, consultants, agencies, creators, and small teams that want a more useful public profile than a static bio page or a generic chatbot widget.
What can I add to my bot?
You can add an intro, topics, Q&A, story, hot take, offerings, uploaded PDFs, and selected public web sources. The bot answers from that material and the public profile you choose to publish.
Can I see and handle conversations myself?
Yes. You can review conversations, see what visitors asked, and take over a conversation when a human reply is better than an AI reply.
How does pricing work?
Free stays available for trying the product. Pro is handled through a custom agreement, so pricing depends on your audience size, usage, setup needs, and support scope.
Why is Pro custom priced?
Different businesses need different knowledge size, Q&A limits, visitor volume, onboarding help, and support. Custom pricing lets us scope the account properly instead of forcing every team into the same small plan.
What are credits?
Credits are usage units for AI work such as chat replies, draft generation, and knowledge processing. Your plan includes a monthly pool, and extra credits can be added when you need more capacity.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You can request a manual top-up. We review the account, confirm the scope or payment if needed, and add credits to the account. Email talkby.app@gmail.com if the request is urgent.
Will the bot reveal private setup details?
No. The bot is instructed to answer visitor questions from public and approved knowledge, not expose hidden instructions, internal configuration, tool details, or private account setup.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. Talkby uses AI, so answers can miss nuance or make mistakes. The owner should treat the bot as an assistant, review important conversations, and step in when accuracy matters.
Do you train AI models on my content?
No. Your content is used to run your bot and related product features. We do not sell your content or use it to train a general-purpose AI model.
Can I delete or update my content?
Yes. You can edit or remove knowledge from your account. If you delete your account, your bot page stops being served and your content is removed according to the terms.
How long does setup take?
A simple bot can be published quickly after you add the core intro, Q&A, and offerings. Larger business setups may take longer if we need to shape knowledge, limits, and onboarding together.
Can Talkby help write my knowledge base?
Yes. The product includes drafting tools to help turn rough notes into usable topics, story sections, hot takes, and Q&A entries.
Can I use my own domain?
Public bot pages currently live under Talkby URLs. For business accounts, custom setup needs can be discussed during scoping.
